Archive for December 2012
I stumbled across a blog today that is hosting a challenge for 2013…a finish a month.
Check it out by clicking on the button above! The idea is that you pick one project a month, link it up, finish it, and link up again at the end of the month. I have quite a few UFOs in the “sewing closet”, so I’m joining in.
I hope you will, too!
I tied the final knot in the quilt around 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Around 3 p.m., I ran out of red beads and had to run out to Joann’s during the last minute shopping rush. I had a hard time with the Misty-Fuse on the red fabric dots – they kept falling off – so the beads were my solution.
One of the chickadees on the moose’s head, so you can see the beads.
A side look – sorry about the shadows, but I took the pictures at 11 o’clock!
The blue “sky” is quilted with a blue/silver/gold/pink variegated thread that was kind of a metallic. We’d found a perfect metallic at Festival, but my machine did NOT like it, so we went off to Joann’s to find something else.
Merry Christmas! I hope to finish more projects in 2013 than I did in 2012!!
