This past weekend, I hung out in Houston with Lisa, Marco, and Tracey (with appearances by Curtis and Cindy).  We went ice skating on Saturday afternoon.  It has been probably 20-25 years since I’ve been on skates.  Goodness, it was fun!  No blood was let, no tailbones cracked, no little children were run over.  Here is our proof:

We accosted some stranger to take our picture as a group (me, Lisa, Tracey, Marco).  Tracey hadn’t really ice skated before.  She did well.

And, then, going all the way back to “last year”, here’s a couple pictures from Christmas.  Kristie and I met MaryPat for breakfast at Hell’s Kitchen in the Canal Park area.  The breakfast was yummy.  We shared a caramel roll.  Then, Kristie had lemon ricotta pancakes, I had breakfast bread pudding, and Mary had Eggs Benedict.  Excellent food, six thumbs up.  Great prices and Kristie and I had the leftovers the next morning for breakfast!

And, I finished the year by finishing a quilt, which I gave to Kristie for Christmas.

Well, if you stuck with me this far…I have a lot of things on my quilting “to-do” list.  I re-organized my stash last week.  I’m about to list out my UFOs and hope to actually get a few things worked on this weekend.  Now, I’m off to see who’s going to be kicked off the Biggest Loser tonight.

Hi! I’m participating in the Row Robin Swap (group 3). Your blog name caught my eye… My family is from Minnesota and I live in Texas! And when I saw you were making LEFSE… YUM! You are a Minnesota girl! 🙂

From your blog name, I’m going to guess you are from WAY up north. What a small world!!
